About Ellendale Labradors
Ellendale Labradors began in February 2005 with our male, Sir Jackson of Ellendale, a Silver-factored Black Lab, who we acquired from Silver Labradors of Rocky Face here in North Carolina. He is a beautiful English Lab that is a solid mass of muscle. He last weighed in at approximately 85 pounds. He has a beautiful block head, very thick otter tail, and is a very intelligent dog all around. In the Fall of 2005, we acquired our starting female, Lady Ree of Ellendale, a Silver-factored Chocolate, also from Silver Labradors of Rocky Face. She has since gone to live with another owner. Both dogs (Jack & Reesee) have strong Silver recessive genes and together have produced Black, Chocolate, Charcoal Silver, and Light Silver puppies. In early 2007, we acquired our Light Silver female, Zoey, from Silvertone Labs in Florida. We were impressed with her right from the start. She carried numerous titles on her pedigree, mostly if not all for Show wins. She came from a large litter of 13 and has carried on her mother's ability to carry large litters. She has proven to be a wonderful mom and we look forward to future litters from her. She last weighed in at approximately 80 pounds, has a beautiful English head and is a very smart girl. She aims to please. For me, she is truly "man's best friend". We acquired Piper, an AKC Charcoal Silver female, from Sterling Creek Silver Labs in Oklahoma, in March of 2008. She is a beautiful Lab with very nice features, from her blocked head to her thick otter tail. She's a very intelligent girl and we look forward to a promising future with her. In May of 2009, we added an AKC Light Silver male to our family. He is from Southern Grey Labradors in Texas. His parents carry beautiful English features which we would like to see more of in the Silver Labs. At 10 months of age, this boy is weighing in at 70 pounds. In September of 2009 we added 2 new females to our family. Dolly is an AKC Light Silver Labrador and is a full sister to Piper, our Charcoal Silver female. She also came from Sterling Creek Silver Labs. She will be a future mate to Stryker and/or Jack. The other female we've added to our family in September of 2009 is Lacie, an AKC Light Silver Labrador. She is from a private home in Indiana. She will also be a future mate with Stryker and/or Jack. Our dogs come from these and other highly regarded kennels as seen on their pedigrees. Our wish is to keep the bloodlines of our dogs strong and to produce dogs with excellent health, stature, and temperament in the breed. Our dogs are given a quality diet and daily vitamins from NuVet. All of our puppies are born indoors and are kept inside until we feel they are ready to be outdoors. Our new kennels are pictured below. We've got 4 runs on a cement floor, septic system, block walls, gated on both ends, large lot for the dogs to run freely, play, dig, lay in the sun, etc. Our lot is surrounded by 4 strands of electric fence to protect them from outside animals and keep them contained. Our middle two lots are for whelping mothers and litters. The kennels have great ventilation as we are located on top of a hill that has a constant breeze. We've had water run to the kennels as well as electricity. I've dreamed of having a quality kennel and it is so nice to finally have it up and running. There is still a lot more I want to do to it. Feel free to come visit us anytime. Call or email first please to schedule a time.

Ellendale Labradors Rapidbath Testimony: "Each of our puppies goes to his/her new home smelling fresh and clean using the Rapidbath system. It is an awesome tool to have and makes bathing so much faster, easier, and much less messy. The shampoos smell wonderful!! I highly recommend this product." Jacqueline Dyson
